  Electrical Wiring Protection A Part-145 organization has recently re-opened its facility and hangar after COVID-19 lockdown situation in the country got normalized. The organization was previously carrying out check – C on an Airbus Aircraft but has to stop down all Part-145 activities after Government imposed Lockdown in the country. After joining the office you are assigned the task to carry out GVI of the Electrical Wiring in the cabin with floor boards, side panels and hat-racks already removed. While checking the tasks in the Aircraft repair orders you came to know that Structure repair including On-Aircraft-Drilling was also done in the cabin 3 months ago.   Now when you entered the aircraft, you found following wiring conditions. Write a Short report identifying all the Wiring Maintenance Practices not followed. Also explain the effect of following on the wiring system 1. Poor House Keeping Standards. 2. Maintenance being carried out on other than electrical systems.

  Electro Static Discharge Sensitive Avant Air Solutions is an ANO-145 approved organization with both Class A and Class C rating for the maintenance of aircraft and its part. The organization was previously carrying out maintenance on Boeing 737 and Boeing 747 aircraft until recently the scope was extended to carry out maintenance on Boeing 777 and Airbus A320 aircrafts having new generation electronics equipment installed in them with Very large scale integration on Built In ICs and system computers. It is the fourth time same electronic card has been declared unserviceable by the line maintenance and has been brought into the shop facility for check. This time again the IC was found damaged.
